The first bidet seat was made of wood and was developed in France. The earlier personal bidets were without a tank and thus were very hard to install and were also very costly. The best thing about them is that they use very little plumbing space and you need not to get off the toilet to use it. Washlets install right on the toilet and replaces the seat and lid. And you need not to dry yourself with towel after using them as was in the old bidet seats.
Bidet toilet seats are easy to install and can add a decorative touch to your bathroom. They are not common in many countries because many people are not able to understand how they work. It makes you feel so fresh and clean after using a bidet seat that you will definitely forget about using toilet paper.
Electronic bidets are also gaining in popularity of late. They offer a lot of features that if you use them once you won't ever go back to the old one. Some of the features they offer are temperature adjustment that feels warm in winters and can be a big relief to you. There are water nozzles that come out when you press the button and the water temperature and pressure is also adjustable. After cleaning yourself, the nozzles go into a cleaning cycle for proper hygienic cleaning. Not only are they convenient and healthy, bidet toilet seats are very useful and can be a lot of fun to use and also increases the décor of your bathroom.
