Aerada Automatic Faucets
Our line of Aerada Automatic Faucets offers various high-tech options for commercial customers. This line of faucets includes eight different series of products to meet the needs of almost every application for customers in the retail, industrial, educational, and health care fields. The lines utilize the latest in consumer design demands and product innovations. New electronic and mechanical faucet options have made this line of faucets the most technologically advanced on the market. In addition, considerable effort was given to the design and look of these faucets. They all feature an attractive, modern, hi-tech style that will update any sink or lavatory.
Aerada Automatic Faucets have a number of common features. The Aerada 90-80 Series Wristblade faucet utilizes ADA compliant handles and the 90-75 Series feature pushbutton activation. These mechanical faucets have very few moving parts and are time-tested and extremely reliable. The other faucet lines utilize a highly reliable form of infrared activation. The electronically activated faucets are found in the 800, 900, 1000, 1100, and 1200 series. All lines incorporate heavy-duty commercial designs and features such as non-corrosive metals (brass, chrome, stainless steel), anti-rotational trimplates, and flexible stainless steel supply hoses. And all faucets include a vandal resistant aerator that controls water flow to 0.5 gallons per minute.
The latest lines of Aerada Automatic Faucets provide hands-free operation, which is a feature demanded by many retail, health care, and other customers. These faucets use an infrared sensor to detect a users hands and activate the water flow. The detection zone is omni-directional, that is, it surrounds the entire spout but does not exceed the lavatory bowl diameter. Not only does this add convenience for every user, but it is particularly useful for the disabled in that they can approach the faucet from any side or frontal angle. This is one of the ADA compliant product features of this series of faucets. When the infrared sensor detects hands entering the detection area, it will start the water flow by electronically opening the solenoid valve. When the hands leave the detection area there will be a timing turn-off delay of 2 3 seconds. And finally, the infrared sensors are designed to activate only with hand motion and not with reflective surfaces, different user skin tones, or soap scum build-up problems that interfered with infrared sensor performance in the past.
All Aerada Automatic Faucets conceal their mechanical and electrical components inside the faucet housing. Not only does this design maintain the stylish, modern look of the faucet but it also makes the faucet vandal resistant because the potential vandal has no surface-mounted controls or exposed parts to damage. There is a water resistant operation box assembly below the lavatory that is preset at the factory to shut off water flow after 30 - 45 seconds. This is an additional vandal resistant feature.
The Aerada Automatic Faucets have other important features in common. The solenoid valves are designed to have few moving parts and are therefore highly reliable. In addition, the valves are constructed of materials that are unaffected by most chemicals and minerals found in American or Canadian municipal water supplies. Also, most of the faucets will operate in a water flow control range of between 20 80 pounds per square inch. The faucet body is solid cast brass and chrome-plated, both non-corrosive metals. And finally, some of the faucets have temperature adjustment levers to control exit water temperature. This is another ADA compliant product feature.
