5 Fun Indoor Activities for Toddlers
If you looking for some ideas for fun indoor activities to do with your toddlers, then look no further. I have some fun activities that I have been used with my little ones when it is rainy outside.
Play dough. I have lots of play dough and play dough sets at homes. I you want to buy, make sure its safe for kids. You can start with create some easy objects out of the dough like balls, flat ovals, sticks, and rings. Teach them how to or let them do on they own imaginations.
Play Hide and Seek. At first, your kids might be uncomfortable with this games, being scared by hiding or can not find you if you hide. Start with hide in observable areas with some parts of your body like leg or arm visible, or make little noises by clearing your throat or coughing to aid him easy to found you.
Fun with Balls. Stand few meters from your kids, and then trundle the balls slowly to him. Ask him to catch it and turned it back to you. Or throw the ball a few meters away and ask the child to bring it back to you. Crawling and walking towards the ball, bending down to pick and standing upright.
Fun with water. Fill the big pot or a sink with water. Put some plastic toys or paper boats there and your kids will have fun with it.
Story Time. Kids love to see colorful pictures. Pick a child story book with colorful object and start to read the story to them while them watch the picture on the book. A good story before naps or bedtime helps them to unwind and settle down.
There are still lots of fun indoor activities you can do with your child. Just be creative to bring sunshine on rainy days.
