One of the most popular varieties of clawfoot bathtubs that is available, especially for those that are interested in a conversation piece are Antique Clawfoot bathtubs. You would probably be surprised with the number of these that are currently available for sale, but the real contest comes in finding one that is unique and will fit exactly into the decor of your existing bathroom. Here are some of the options that are available for you when you are looking for one of these tubs, where to find them and how to decide if you have found a good deal or not.
The price range for used Clawfoot tubs can be anywhere from just a few dollars, in the case of a more common tub that is in poor shape to several thousand dollars for a unique and classic tub that is difficult to find anywhere else. The most common of these Antique Clawfoot bath tubs are going to be the standard 60 inch tub which has a rolled rim and is all the same level on the top. You can usually pick these up for just the few hundred dollars in fairly good shape, and they do make an excellent addition to many bathrooms.
