Is it OK to put a plug in air freshner in your hospital room?
I'll be in the hospital for about a week and I hate the medicinal smell, and smelly people stank...is it OK to plug in an air freshener from Bath & Body works in the room (it will be semi-private,) and bring some aroma therapy spray for the room?
PS I'm a bad asthmatic...and this stuff HELPS me breathe better.
Hospital smells make me nauseated and I usually throw up from the awful body smells.
I already know that it is "against" the rules but bring it and plug it in when no one is looking and in a place that won't be so "conspicuous" and they won't probably even notice. As far as the spray, just hide it in your drawer and use it when there aren't any medical staff in your room. I feel you 100%. A lot of people forget how uncomfortable it is to be in the hospital and how just a "few" touches of "home" can help us relax and heal faster. Good luck!!!
